InnoGrove has a strong team of leadership in support of our members and the Elk Grove community.

STEVEN M. BARNETT, CO-FOUNDER & GENERAL MANAGER

In addition to his role as General Manager of InnoGrove Steve Barnett is Principal of Barnett Technical Services, a company that provides consulting and product distribution in the field of materials science. He holds a Ph.D. degree in Chemistry from McGill University and an MBA from UC Davis. Steve is also a Mentor in the Monterey Trails DATA Program for high school students and speaks with students at various levels (from elementary to university) about science and careers in technology fields.

Steve lives in Elk Grove with his wife and their many pets. He enjoys travel, working out at the gym (which does not occur frequently enough!), and meeting new people from different cultures.

LAURA GOOD, DIRECTOR OF COMMUNITY PROGRAMS & OUTREACH

Laura joins the Innogrove team after supporting the Sacramento region startup community for over seven years in her role as director of programs and operations for economic development nonprofit SARTA. An avid social media enthusiast, Laura is better known in the Sacramento region by her Twitter handle, @goodlaura, and in 2012, was named “Number One Local Voice on Twitter” by the Sacramento Business Journal. Laura uses her “powers” to promote the community, to assist regional nonprofits, and to support the Sacramento startup scene. Laura also volunteers for a number of community organizations and curates the Sacramento StartupDigest.

Laura earned her BS in Finance from Santa Clara University. She is a California native and grew up in the Redwood forests of Santa Cruz County. She currently resides with her Border Collie mix, Balboa, in the Sierra foothills in Gold Country.

FAITH ROBERTS, COMMUNITY and OFFICE MANAGER

Faith is a native of Atlanta, Georgia. She holds a B.A. in Mass Media Arts with a concentration in Film and is a devout Yoga Instructor. After college, she developed a strong devotion for health and environmental advocacy. One summer while traveling along the west coast with friends, she fell in love with the many facets California offers and decided to relocate. She is constantly recognized for her community outreach and passion for people. She enjoys travel, independent films, reading, fitness, photography, dance, art, and engaging start up projects. In her spare time you can usually find her adventuring the great outdoors or eating at a cool new restaurant.
